The European Commission has presented the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) with the HR Excellence in Research Award. This distinction officially recognizes commitments by the UMH to the most demanding levels of quality in all procedures related to recruitment, working conditions, training, management, and the responsibilities of research personnel in any kind of contractual relationship, as well as an institutional pledge to maintain and increase those levels of quality in the future.
Among the best Spanish universities according to the seventh edition of the U-Ranking by the BBVA Foundation and the IVIE
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) sits in fifth position in the ranking of the best Spanish universities. Likewise, in the Innovation and Technological Development classification, the UMH is third, while in terms of Teaching, it occupies fourth place. These are the conclusions of the seventh edition of the 2019 U-Ranking project, a joint initiative by the BBVA Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE).
Second Spanish university in Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure in the Times Higher Education rankings
The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is the second Spanish university in the context of Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure according to the British Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019, which classifies the world's best universities. To rank them, this study analyzes the main performance indicators related to social impact and groups them into the areas of teaching, research, industry income, sustainability, and international outlook.
