During the physical fundamentals II, the student will learn to find the solution of problems based on previously acquired knowledge, which will provide you with the confrontation with real problems in the future performance of their profession. It will also it in a reasoned way, so that the learned work method can serve you in any situation throughout his life. The application of electromagnetism, the AC and DC power, like waves, are basic for the future professional development of this type of engineer
Methodology and grading
- Lecture: Pass on knowledge and activate cognitive processes in students, encouraging their participation.
- Solving exercises and problems: Exercise, test, and apply previous knowledge through routine repetition.
Note end (NF) of the subject is obtained as:
NF = 0, 75 TP 0.2 0.05 PLI TG
Final exam theory and problems (TP; 75% of the final grade): problems with numerical development. Brief questions of elementary concepts.
PLI practices score up to 20% of the final grade. Practices are done in by the student in the computer labs, through programs of calculation and spreadsheets. They are supplied individually per pupil.
Work will be in Group and individual (TG; 5% of the final grade): proposed and approved by the teacher, or proposed by the student and approved by the teacher. Such work will be evaluated.
TP, PLI and TG score between 0 and 10. To pass the course, NF must be equal or greater than 5 and TP, PLI and TG greater or equal to 4.
