Knowledge about the development of physical qualities is a key point in the Degree of Science in Sport and Physical Activity. Several career of this degree found in the methodology of fitness a very important aspect to develop content.
On the one hand we find sports training which has physical conditioning and development a basic qualities is a basic aspect with loads planning to optimize the athlete performance. In the area of education, the development of physical qualities is the cornerstone of all courses, exist at all stages of basic formation Thematic Unities within the PE curriculum related to these qualities. In the areas of health, disability and special populations, development of physical qualities is a very important to improve the quality of life of particular populations and optimize overall health status.
Thus we understand that this subject is of great interest to a wide range in the majority of potential career fields for the graduate in Sports Science.

Methodology and grading
- Case studies: Learning through the analysis of actual or simulated cases in order to interpret and resolve them by employing various alternative solution procedures.
- Cooperative learning: Develop active learning through cooperative working strategies among students and promote shared responsibility to reach group goals.
- Lecture: Pass on knowledge and activate cognitive processes in students, encouraging their participation.
- Solving exercises and problems: Exercise, test, and apply previous knowledge through routine repetition.
- The subject assessment will be divided into two theoretical and practical sections. The first section will be evaluated by a test of 40 multiple choice questions (5 options). Each test failure remains a quarter of the correct answer value . This section will be overcome with a 5 and will be a condition for granting the evaluation of the second section.
The second section will be evaluated by testing three developmentopen questions , in which the student must answer case problems. This test is passed with a score of 5 out of 10.
When the student passes both sections will enter the average of its notes (paragraph 1 more paragraph 2) to obtain a final mark of the subject.
