The course follows a system of continuous in-person evaluation. In other words, all students are assessed on a continuous basis, although those who are not face-to-face can make the final evaluation of UMH regulations.
In both modalities, the grade will correspond in 70% to the theoretical module and in 30% to the practical module (Final grade = theoretical grade x 0.7 + practical grade x 0.3).
CONTINUOUS EVALUATION (Type A):
70% theoretical module (60 % theory exam + 10% participation) and 30% to the practices (20% memories + 10% attendance). Voluntary work involves up to 0.5 to be added to the final mark.
Theoretical grade: objective test + participation in class.
Objective test type test
Test of 3 alternatives, with a minimum content of 2-3 questions per topic (40 questions). Minimum grade to pass the subject: 5. Formula of correction: PD= [A - (E/k-1)] / 3, where A are the successes, E the errors and k the number of options of the questions. The contents of the exam will be based both on the subject matter explained in the classes and on the recommended study bibliography in each subject. Students will have 7 working days after the exam to make allegations or challenges to the questions. The overall challenge to the exam is the responsibility of the course delegate.
Participation in class
Participation/intervention in class is valued up to 1 point.
Practical grade: memories presented + attendance and participation to the practices.
Reports: students has to deliver two practical reports: 1.2. Assessment process and writing of psychological report" and "2.1. Observation and self-observation". The memory is individual in the first case and group in the second. The scheme for its realization is specified in the internship program.
Attendance to the practices (8 sessions: 5 small group practices and 3 full group practices): it is valued by means of the delivery of activities in the session and signature. In the event of not being able to attend the internship, the students provide the teacher with proof of their absence. Attendance at class is valued at a maximum of 1 point out of the 3 points assigned to the practices. Attendance at least in 6 of the 8 sessions (more than 75%) is necessary in order to pass the subject.
Additional volunteer work can be done and communicated within the first two weeks of class.
FINAL EVALUATION OF THE UMH REGULATION (Type B):
70% theoretical module (70% theory exam) and 30% to the final practice exam (30%).
Theoretical grade: objective test.
Objective test type test
Same as type A. Difference: the maximum grade here is 7 points.
Test of 8 short answer questions. The contents of the practical exam are based on the practical sessions conducted during the course and the practice support materials available on the web. A 1.5 out of 3 is required to pass this part.
Same as type A.
