The subject `Occupational Therapy in Adults: Musculoskeletal disorders and other illnesses¿ is a third year subject designed for students in the Bachelor¿s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Core Subject: 7.5 ECTS. Second Quarter.
Students will achieve the necessary background so that they will be able to intervene in the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals who are experiencing Musculoskeletal Disorders or other diseases. The course includes an Anatomical Review of the various diseases and a discussion of the role of Occupational Therapy in Interventions, Therapeutic Use of Occupation, the Assessment of Dependence in daily activities and the Promotion of Personal Autonomy.
