Two types of evaluation are established:
a) Continuous assessment system
The student will regularly monitor attendance with active participation that will allow its evaluation in this mode.
The three mandatory practices carried out during the semester will have 50% of the grade with the following percentages:
1- news with voice cut (20%)
2- story (15%)
3- Information (15%)
The theoretical exam of the semester will end 40% of the grade. The exam consist of a written test type test on the contents of the program of the subject, developed in the theoretical and practical classes, and about radio news topics.
Learning objectives will be evaluated attitudinal field from attending classes with active participation, tutorials, seminars and other activities 10%.
In the rating of all exercises, mastery of the various aspects of radio journalism, addressed in the theoretical and practical classes will be assessed. It is imperative to pass both the practical and the final exam in order to make the average of both. In the case of not passing one of the parts of the subject (theory or practice), the note that has been approved will be saved, but only for the September session.
b) Evaluation of the official examination
Students who have not approved course or choose this mode (previously communicated to the teacher at the beginning of the course), they will have to carry out the official examination that will consist of a written test on the contents taught that demonstrate the results of learning of the cognitive and procedural scope of the different aspects of Radiophonic Journalism; this test (50%) will include both test-like questions and other short and development questions about theoretical contents or practical applications of them and about radio news topics. The students will also have to provide an individual practical exercise: an Informational that will include all the practices requested during the course (50%). It is necessary to approve each of the parties in order to make the average of both.
For the extraordinary call of December, everything indicated in section b) will apply.
In the multiple choice questions, every two errors is subtracted a correct answer. In the exam mode that combines multiple-choice questions with short and development questions, it will be necessary to obtain 50% of the maximum score established for this last section in order to add it to the one obtained in the test questions.
The face-to-face evaluation requires attendance at 80% of the theoretical and practical classes and the presentation in time and form of the compulsory practical exercises.
