This course deals with the study of selecting projects in fruiticulture by applying multicriteria analysis. Based on previous traditional methods of project hierarchy, investment evaluation, and previous studies on costs, multicriteria methodology, its typology, and techniques are presented, and delves into the analytic hierarchy process (AHP).
The possibility of alternatives requires consideration of various attributes in prioritizing and planning of new plantations to improve production. The simultaneous optimization of all objectives in improving fruit production is impossible or at least difficult, given the normal degree of conflict between them, hence the need for tools to facilitate decision making. This course aims to meet these criteria decision tools for determining, ranking and prioritizing decision making in new orchards and lines of research. The concepts and variables studied in other subjects relating to the improvement of production, new varieties, control, etc.. allow their integration through case studies in this analysis.
