Description
This course defines the characteristics of the critical pediatric patient, establishes the concept of effective blood volume, and describes the metabolism in acute injury, systemic inflammatory response, scales of gravity and malfunction-failure of organs and their features, pathophysiology, assessment, and therapeutic action in states of shock and the sepsis code.

Defines the characteristics of the pediatric critical patient, sets the concept of effective blood volume and describes the metabolism in acute injury, the systemic inflammatory response, the scales of gravity and disfuncion-fracaso of bodies and features, pathophysiology, assessment and therapeutic action in States of shock and Sepsis code.
Attends individually the more frequent emergency care in clinical situations to the pediatric patient.

- Know and perform basic medical intervention techniques and procedures in critical patients.
- Know and apply action protocols for possible organ donation after asystole for care outside hospitals.
- Know and apply the recommended action guidelines in medical emergency situations, both in- and out-of-hospital.

Methodology
