The course entitled Management and Human Resources is a subject of 6 credits, which according to the allocation of credit in the UMH European equivalent to 150 hours. It is allocated in the first half of the first year of the Master.
When pupils and students access to this subject they have already had a first contact with the area of study, through the subject Fundamentals of Management, located in the first quarter of the same year, as well as the subject of Management. In these preliminary, introductory courses students have a first approach to the reality of the company and have been familiar with some basic concepts that form the foundation of the structure and operation of the company and are gradually developing in all subjects that make the syllabus.
After this first contact, the subject Management and Human Resources primary's objective is that students acquire sufficient knowledge to understand the philosophy or set of criteria that support the System Management and Corporate Management, addressing it from a global perspective.
Following this framework the program addresses, first, a number of general concepts and fundamentals of management and process management that contextualize its principal task Managing the organization ie. to ensure the setting and achievement of business objectives through an interactive process that addresses the planning, organization, integration of human resources, personnel management and control. Second, it delves into one of the phases of the process, the Organization function or set of actions and decisions that lead to the design of the organizational structure under which the business units operate. Specifically they addressed in depth the areas of financial, business management and marketing as well as strategic and business planning process.
Alongside this, we will develop certain skills that will enable students, to find, evaluate and use information relevant to their needs and objectives; develop their ability to think and use their skills to solve and properly deal with the challenges life presents, especially in the workplace and within the organization. Specifically, train future Master graduates to cope with employees, superiors and people in their working environment by developing managerial skills and learning to use their full potential.
Finally, it addresses in detail the Human Resources and tools as the development of a of a job analysis.
