Most of the sporting installations at the UMH are located on the Elche Campus. There are paddle tennis courts, a pool, multi-sport courts, and a golf course. The UMH Sport Pavilion has multi-disciplinary rooms where you can practice dance, wrestling, spinning, fitness, aerobics, boxing, gymnastics, Pilates, or have a cardiovascular workout to help keep fit. To participate in UMH sporting activities, you can acquire the TDU Sporting Card (TDU Tarjeta Deportiva), highly recommended if you want to go to the UMH Gymnasium, among other facilities. You can acquire this card from the Sport Management Service; to do so, bring a passport-sized photo, and this will then provide you access to the gymnasium and pool, among other options. If you would like to reserve a multi-sport or paddle court, you must send an e-mail to deportes(arroba)umh.es. To acquire a pool pass, visit the concierge in the Hélike building.
Throughout the semester, the Sport Management Service offers the possibility of practicing multiple sporting activities; the proposals will arrive via e-mail or online personal access as a UMH student. If you would like to sign up for competitions with UMH sports teams, contact the Sport Management Service for information on how to do just this.
