Students should be able to establish the diagnosis and prognosis and to indicate the safest and useful treatment for a patient applying principles based on the best available information.
Students should be able to indicate the best therapy for the most prevalent acute and chronic processes, as well as for terminally ill patients.
Students should be able to propose appropriate preventive measures for each clinical situation.
Students should acquire practical clinical knowledge and skills. This knowledge will be acquired under supervision in hospital, health centers and other health institutions. Also, student should acquire a basic knowledge of patient-centered cares as well as the best utilization of scientific evidence to adequate use of medicines and other resources of the health system.
