The Biochemistry helps the pharmacist to understand the body as a complex chemical system. It also provides basis for understanding pathological disorders from a molecular point of view, as well the action of some drugs. In the future, many treatments will be personalized based on the biochemical constitution of a specific patient, thus the pharmacist will have an open field of action in the understanding and design of active molecules used in such therapies
