The evaluation criteria will allow to establish the knowledge acquired by the student during the theoretical and practical classes, as well as the work done during the seminars, participation and assistance to the different activities, and problem solving.
The complete evaluation of the subject includes:
i) Theoretical-practical exam on the concepts taught in the thematic units (75% on the final grade of the subject). Minimum grade to average: 5.
Students may review their exams on the days announced for this, upon request by email. No questions about how an exam has been corrected at any other time will be accepted.
ii) Evaluation of individualized practice reports (15% on the final grade of the subject).
Minimum grade to average: 5.
The mark of the practice reports will be weighted by the Attendance Rate (AI = Attendance Rate [0,1]) that multiplies the final practice mark.
Minimum attendance limit to 80% of scheduled sessions. The minimum non-attendance to these sessions, as well as the non-delivery of the reports, implies the non-passing of the subject and if the student requests it, the completion of a practical final exam.
The weighting of both grades must exceed a minimum of 5.0 points to pass the subject.
iii) Seminar on a research article where exposure, participation, attitude and questions will be assessed both by the person who teaches the seminar and by those who receive it (10% on the final grade of the subject).
Minimum grade to average: 5.
The seminar grade will be weighted by the Attendance Rate (AI = Attendance Rate [0,1]) that multiplies the final practice mark.
Minimum attendance limit to 90% of the total number of seminars. The minimum non-attendance implies not obtaining 10% to add to the previous two qualifications.
If the teacher deems it appropriate, extra activities may be carried out throughout the course, which can be a maximum of 5% of the final grade.
The attendance, participation and attitude of the student in the theoretical-practical classes, problem classes and seminars will be taken into account by the teacher who will assess it in the final evaluation.
Suspended students, or not presented, will keep the practice mark in the calls of the academic year itself.
Students who have not submitted exam will not be considered as not submitted - and will not consume the corresponding ordinary call.
Unique evaluation system: A final evaluation test can be carried out on the acquisition of ALL the competences of the subject (theory, practices and seminars) that will be valued over 10.
To take this test, the student must request it 15 school days before the exam date approved by the grade council.
