In order to stimulate the teaching-learning process by students during the course, a continuous evaluation system will be applied, consisting of four parts.
1. The practices planned during the course will have a maximum weight of 15% of the total grade.
2. The completion of the written research paper, of a monographic nature on one of the topics of the program, will amount to the remaining 20%.
3. The final theoretical-practical exam that will be carried out on the date of the official call will be assessed 60% of the grade.
4. The remaining 5% of the final grade will come from the active monitoring of the tutorials by the students.
To pass the course it is necessary to pass both the exam and the research work and practices. The qualification of the research essay and / or exam will be reserved for any other call of the current academic year (September and / or December).
September extraordinary call:
The final grade will be the one obtained in the exam (80%) and with the research work (20%), except if the grade with the continuous evaluation system described in the February call was higher.
December extraordinary call:
The final grade will be the one obtained in the exam (80%) and with the reading of the mandatory book (20%).
Anyone who does not adhere to or does not pass the continuous evaluation process may be examined for 100% of the subject in a final theoretical and practical exam that will be carried out on the date of the official call.
The exam consists of a test and a written exam with equal weighting. Each of them equals 30% of the overall grade.
The test will consist of twenty questions with four possible options of which only one will be correct.
The written exam will consist of (at least) two development questions framed in the content, practices and bibliography of the subject.
The subject of the exam is made up of the syllabus of the subject, the explanations given in class and the basic readings of the subject.
To compensate both parts, it is necessary to obtain at least a 4 any of them.
2. Research essay and practices:
Research essaylimit: 10,000 words, 25 pages
Recommendations: meet the deadlines established for the delivery of research work and practices.
Correction criteria for written exam:
o Adequacy between the question asked and the content of the answer
o Correct expression and structure of the answer (understanding of the theoretical contents explained, the order and the explanatory clarity)
o Conceptual and terminological precision, attending to the respect and academic use of the cultured language
Test type correction formula: three wrong questions will subtract one well answered, that is, each error will subtract 0.33.
Students who plagiarize shall receive a grade of 0 in the call and the request to open the file / student / involved in fraud to the Faculty Board.
