Durante el aprendizaje de la asignatura de Fundamentos Físicos II, el alumno aprenderá a encontrar la solución de problemas en base a conocimientos previamente adquiridos, lo que le facilitará el enfrentamiento con problemas reales en el desempeño futuro de su profesión. También lo hará de forma razonada, de modo que el método de trabajo aprendido pueda servirle en cualquier situación a lo largo de su vida.

Objectives (Learning outcomes)
- 01To know and to differentiate the physical magnitudes of temperature and heat as well as of the sense of the transfer of the heat and to apply it to the thermal balance.
- 02To handle with correction the first law of the termidinámica to study the evolution of the thermal systems and to know the principal magnitudes and functions of condition implied
- 03To predict the natural evolution of the thermal systems and to know and to use the second law of the thermodynamic one to evaluate the efficiency of the most important thermal cycles of the engineering.
- 04To know the fundamental laws of the geometric optics and to use them to evaluate the path of the light in homogeneous means, and to evaluate the modification that suffers on having changed way.
- 05To know and to use the laws of the spherical lenses, spherical mirrors, flat mirrors and combinations of them to solve real situations of practical interest.
- 06To know and to use the tools of habitual use in the vectorial fields and you will climb applying them in I make concrete to the electrostatics. To solve simple problems of calculation of electrical and potential field using Gauss's law.

Methodology and grading
- Lecture: Pass on knowledge and activate cognitive processes in students, encouraging their participation.

The maximum course score will be the number of points obtained by multiplying the number of hours of class by a point, approximately 60 points (fifteen weeks to four hours per week).
There are two systems of evaluation students can exercise at the same time.
By assisting each hour of class, verified with the signature of the student in the part which will be daily by the teacher, the student will get 0.1 points.
By assisting each of the examinations of the respective issues of one-hour (during school hours), the student will get at least one point.
After providing each of the topics (in the next class or in another post), will be a written test on it, the student may face with the help of all the written information you want, excluding devices computer, telephone and Internet access, and whose maximum score for each examination of the various issues, as well as seminars below , although in these could not be provided with written information or any help.
If the student, at the end of the course or during the same, matches or exceeds half of the maximum score (approximately 30 of the 60 points) will approve the subject and get the score proportionally corresponding on the scale from 0 to 10 points.
FFI_II, is divided for the purpose of the final examination in three thematic blocks. Thermodynamics, optics and electromagnetism.
Both students who have not passed the subject in the continuous evaluation, or have not chosen this system of evaluation, such as those who have done so and wish to opt to improve the note, may be submitted to one or more thematic blocks in the final exam of the course, the day and time proposed by the EPSE (probably in June 2016).
The final note of the block will be best obtained by the student in the continuous assessment and obtained in the final exam.
The rating of each thematic block is saved for each student in the following announcements of the subject as a starting note, that it may be improved, both the following continuous assessments and exams ordinary or extraordinary, whenever the Professor follow teaching the subject in the following calls.
Repetitive students score will be updated to the new system in proportion and blocks.
Seminars are evaluated only once per academic year in the continuous assessment, and can never be repeated until the following year.
The obtained note they will be extra and added to the sum of ratings obtained in the rest of the evaluation.
CRITERIA of correction:
The final review of each block, as well as of each topic on the continuous assessment, will consist of questions with four possible alternative responses, problems, issues, or combinations of them all.
In the alternative answers questions, for each three incorrect answers will be deducted a successful response.
The criteria for correction in the problems shall take into account the student's ability to properly use the laws of physics, which in particular may be applicable in each case, their mathematical development, reference systems used in each case, the accuracy of the results and the correct use of units in each case.
In short issues an advantage especially the correction in the application of physical principles to specific situations and their subsequent discussion.
