The final grade of the subject, the result of the theoretical exam (70%), and the mark obtained in the practicals (30%), should be obtained as a minimum, a 4.5 in each part, to be able to affirm both the theory and the laboratory practices (15%), and simulation practices (15%). In no case will be averaged with a grade lower than 4.5 in each part. A final grade equal to or greater than 5.0 is considered approved.
The simulation practices were evaluated through an examination carried out in the computer rooms at the end of the semester.
The practices carried out in the laboratory were evaluated by a continuous evaluation of the students.
The note will be saved for September, the part of the subject that is approved in June, the theory or laboratory practices, or the simulation practices, or both practices, if the part of the part has been suspended, there is no time to evaluate in September, of the approved part. In the event that the student has not had an experience of the practice sessions, has justified the lack of adequate assistance, has made a practice test at the end of the semester, as well as the practical in which he asks. of the matter seen during the development of the practices.
The grade obtained from a voluntary work in groups, proposed by the students, on the subject taught in the subject, can increase in one (10%), the final grade of the subject obtained from the average between theory and practice, always in the case, in which the theory has been approved, and that this average between theory and practices, is lower than a grade of 10.
The theoretical exam of the subject, will consist of four problems to be developed or test questions with 4 answers to choose one, related to the subject taught during the course, and / or the practices carried out in it, and will have an approximate duration of 4 hours in the June session, and 3 hours in the September session. All the information considered necessary (forms, etc.) will be delivered in the exam.
The exam of the simulation practices will consist of 4 exercises related to the practices carried out during the course, asking for the drawing of the circuits, the simulation of the same, and the measurements obtained in the simulations, as well as some explanation about the circuit, or results obtained, if considered necessary. This exam will be done individually, in a computer classroom, at the end of the semester.
The laboratory practices will be done in groups of two people maximum, in the Electronic laboratory enabled for this purpose, the students must take the script of each practice, in case it is requested at the end of it, and having read it, before entering the laboratory to perform it.
Volunteer work will be done in groups of 2 or 3 people, according to the volume and type of work proposed by the students.
If the theoretical exam, is of problems to develop, the note of each one, will be agreed according to the number of sections that have the problem, and to the degree of difficulty of the same, granting with higher score, the problems that have the highest number of sections, and / or greater difficulty. Each section of each problem, would have a different score, following the criterion of giving higher score, to the sections with greater difficulty. If the test is a test-type question, all the questions have the same score, and each incorrect answer will subtract 1/3 pts from each correct answer. Unanswered questions do not subtract.
In the exam of simulation practices, the grade of each exercise, will follow the same criteria as the theoretical exam of problems to be developed.
The practices carried out in the laboratory will be evaluated through a continuous evaluation of the students, both the work developed and the results obtained, as well as the behavior shown in the classroom, and / or the delivery of a report of the practices carried out, and / or the carrying out a theoretical or practical exam, according to the teachers it deems necessary.
The note of voluntary group work, will be obtained from the correction of the works exhibited in the theory classroom, and the tutorials made on these works. The choice of the part of the work to be presented by each speaker will be random. The final note of the work, will be obtained from the sum of an individual note of each speaker (clarity of exposure and type of answers provided), and a group note of the work done (difficulty and originality, relationship with the subject, resources used and memory done).
During the exam, you will not be allowed to use books, notes, mobiles or programmable calculators, all of which must be left under the blackboard when you enter the classroom. Only a pen and a basic calculator are allowed, in case the faculty indicates that it is necessary.
IT IS A NECESSARY CONDITION TO PERFORM ANY EXAMINATION (THEORETICAL, SIMULATION OR LABORATORY), SEND AN E-MAIL TO THE TEACHER (firstname.lastname@example.org) UNTIL 9:00 AM ON THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAMINATION, CONFIRMING THE ASSISTANCE TO THE SAME.
