UMH - SNP - Learning Unit II. Injuries SNP in MMII. physiotherapy

Students will be able to assimilate the various concepts, techniques and methods (preventive, therapeutic and educational) and treatment-related injury physiotherapy approach of SNP and pathologies, and situations of dependency syndromes in the elderly.
Students will be able to propose objectives and strategies in physiotherapy care SNP injuries and problems relating to older people and their situations of dependency, and to understand the importance of research methodology and continuous assessment in daily
Students will be able to realize of the importance and necessity of clinical reasoning, teamwork to solve problems arising with the SNP pathologies and seniors, especially when they are affected the autonomy and independence of the individual in ADL.
Students will be able to know incorporate into their daily work with the different situations of dependency ethical and legal principles of physiotherapy, in turn being able to take risks and manage uncertainty, so it must be able to work with responsibility, discretion and respect, and the use of empathy and assertiveness in their daily care dependence and problems relating to SNP and the group of the elderly.

SNP - Physiotherapy in lesions of the cauda equina, lumbosacral plexus and peripheral nerves of the lower limb.
SNP - Major problems standing and walking in the peripheral nervous system lesions, their rehabilitation.
