- Case studies: Learning through the analysis of actual or simulated cases in order to interpret and resolve them by employing various alternative solution procedures.
- Lecture: Pass on knowledge and activate cognitive processes in students, encouraging their participation.
- Problem-based learning: Develop active learning strategies through problem solving that promote thinking, experimentation, and decision making in the student.
- Solving exercises and problems: Exercise, test, and apply previous knowledge through routine repetition.
It includes two components:
1) Exam of theoretical knowledge that has a value of 950% of the total. It consists of a written exam about the lessons of the first part of the course program. It includes two questions of short or medium size, about 25-30 minutes each; but the two must be answered with a minimum score of 5 out of 10 (or 2.5 out of 5, which is the same), in order to pass the exercise. It will include also a final written exam. This will contain only two questions in part not subject to the exam of the first program part, for the students who passed the exam of the first program part. It will include 4 questions for the students who did not pass the exam of the first program part. To pass the final exam it is necessary to answer all questions of each part of the program with a minimum score of 5 out of 10.
The first part of the program will be released with 5 scores or more, for the purposes of the final examination of the ordinary call. But either part of the program (both the first and the second) will be considered released for ordinary or extraordinary successive calls, only if the student gets 7 scores or more than 7 in this part. Although it is also subject to the condition that the files where such notes are collected are not lost because these marks are not in centralized databases of the University. Furthermore, the student must indicate in which call he obtained this mark so that it can be located.
2) Evaluation of cases and other activities, with a value of 10% of the total. Before the start of a new didactic unit, a case related to each one will be brought and will be delivered by the students through the tasks tab as well as be exposed in the class by them when the analysis starts, at the beginning of the class. Therefore, attendance to the classes in which the case is raised will be mandatory to obtain the aforementioned 10% of the total grade.
