That's 70% of the final grade. There will be a final examination of 7 developmental questions (1 point per question) and the resolution of a clinical case (3 points).
Each spelling mistake in the developmental exam will deduct 0.25 points from the score obtained in the exam. It is essential to obtain a minimum score of 5 points in order to pass the theoretical part of the subject.
It's 30% of the final notal.
Practical case work (20% of the final grade): Students, organized in small groups, must perform and present a practical work consisting of the resolution of a real case through the techniques seen in the subject.
Likewise, a video must be made (10% of the final grade), where the students, individually, show the assessment made to an older person.
Each spelling mistake, in the practical work, will deduct 0.25 from the final grade of the practical part of the subject.
In order to have the right to the evaluation of the practical part of the subject, the student will have attended 100% of the practical classes. A maximum of 2 practical classes will be allowed to be absent, as long as the reason for the absence is justified.
It is essential to obtain a minimum grade of 5 points in order to pass the practical part of the course.
The final grade of the course will be obtained with the following formula: Theoretical grade x0.7 + Practical grade x0.3
It is essential to have passed both parts with a minimum grade of 5 to pass the subject.
Inadequate behaviour during theory and/or practice sessions will mean up to -1 point of the final grade of the subject.
The highest grades obtained in the subject can be qualified as honorary matriculation, as long as they surpass the 8.5 of average grade. In the event that several students have the same grade, the grade obtained in the theoretical exam will be taken into account to break the tie. The number of honor rolls to be awarded per course will be a maximum of 5% of the student body enrolled in the subject.
RECOVERY. The grades obtained will be kept until the December extraordinary convocation of the corresponding academic year. The examination of the theoretical part will consist of 7 questions to be developed and the resolution of a clinical case. The practical exam will consist of the resolution of a case in which the student must apply the practical content seen in the subject.
Theoretical part. The evaluation test will be a written examination with 7 questions to develop and the resolution of a clinical case.
Practical part. The evaluation consists of the delivery in time of 2 works. In one of them, the students, organized in small groups, must carry out and present a practical work consisting of the resolution of a real case by means of the techniques seen in the subject.
In another, a video must be made, where the students, individually, show the evaluation made to an older person.
Theoretical part. Each question to be developed will score 1; in order to obtain the maximum score per question, the answer must answer the question completely.
The clinical case will have a maximum value of 3 points; in order to obtain the maximum score, the following questions must be answered:
- Rapid and exhaustive evaluation that would be carried out.
- Specify the problems and needs of the presented case.
- Establish the priorities within those problems justifying the decision.
- Indicate the long and short term objectives.
- Briefly describe the approaches, strategies and techniques that you would use in the presented case.
- Describe the intervention plan: detail a treatment session with the patient taking into account the priority mentioned.
Practical part: a practical work consisting in the resolution of a real case by means of the techniques seen in the subject should be carried out and presented by small groups. The maximum mark to obtain will be of 10 points distributed of the following way: 7 points for the written work (description of the case, rapid and exhaustive evaluation, establishment of priorities, objectives, description of the approaches, strategies and techniques used, description of the intervention plan, final evaluation, conclusions, evaluation of the experience). The remaining 3 points of the work will be obtained from the exposition of the case, where the format and style of the visual presentation and the verbal exposition will be valued.
Likewise, a video must be made in which the students, individually, show the evaluation made to an older person. In order to obtain the maximum score of 5 points, the video must reflect the exhaustive evaluation of an older person, including the administration of the relevant tests and their scores. The video and an individual assessment of the experience should be presented.
It is essential to obtain a grade of 5 points in each of the parts of the subject in order to pass it.
0.25 will be deducted for each spelling mistake, both in the exam and in the papers presented.
Inadequate behaviour during theory and/or practice sessions will suppose up to -1 point of the final grade of the subject.
