Students are only exempt from attending the practice center on the days of the International Congress of Occupational Therapy Students (CIETO), never on other days for organizational reasons or being part of a committee. FINAL NOTE: It is an essential requirement to pass the subject, obtain a minimum grade of 5 in sections 1 (seminars), 2 (center evaluation) and 3 (final report). Despite having passed the previous sections, students will suspend the subject, if there is a breach of "Article 9. Rights and duties of internship students" of Royal Decree 592/2014, of July 11, of the BOE, whereby external academic practices of university students are regulated. https://www.boe.es/diario_boe/txt.php? id = BOE-A-2014-8138. The documents related to the Rules and Article 9 can be consulted from the web section of the subject material. For example, some of these norms imply suspense of the subject if they expel the student from the center for inappropriate behavior, if it does not exceed or is considered unfit in the previous interviews conducted by the center or if it does not respect the rules of confidentiality. The evaluation formula will only be applied in cases in which these rules have been met, so that non-compliance is cause for suspense of the subject.
Important: Choice of practice Centers
-If the student is unable to attend the auction of centres, he/she must authorize a partner to give the waiver or to choose a center for him or her (delegation of the election). If the pupil does not show up and there is no partner or partner authorized to represent him, he will suspend the subject. The necessary documents are in the subject material.
-Criterion followed to allocate the post in the auction: product between number of credits approved (not counting transversal competences and being a maximum of 180 in 4 º and 120 in 3 º) and the average note of the academic record.
-Once you have chosen the centre at the auction, the students cannot refuse it and choose a different centre. Nor can he choose a center and then resign to open a new convention.
-Students must make each shift of stays in a different center, ie it is not allowed to repeat practice center unless there is no other center available in the list.
You can only miss a seminar with a duly justified reason. This seminar will be marked with a 0. The absence of more than one seminar, even if it is justified, will be considered a failure of the subject. Failure to a single seminar without justification will be considered a failure of the subject.
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF SUSPENSION:
If the student suspends the seminars, they will recover in the corresponding call making a final presentation of the work during 20 minutes. If the student has suspended the final report (the report), the note of the practical part and seminars will be kept until December and the report will have to be repeated. If the student has suspended the practical part (stay in centers) will have to repeat the stays in another center. If it is presented for the September session, the student will have to look for a center where there are no students already attending their stays. If you apply for the December session, you will have to look for an internship center that is not necessarily in the list of those that are offered in the auction. The seminars and the memory will be suspended and will be recovered in the corresponding call, delivering the memory and making the final presentation of the work. The student will be responsible for searching the center and contacting their academic tutor to authorize the completion of the internship, before making the agreement. As in the rest of the subjects, students who do not pass the ordinary or September exam will have to re-register for the subject, even for the December session. The seminars count 20% of the final grade.
HONORARY REGISTRATION: The mention of "honorary registration" may be granted to students who have obtained a qualification equal to or greater than 9.00. Your number may not exceed 5% of the students enrolled in that subject.
PROCEDURE in the EVENT of RESIGNATION:

The delivery of the document may make the student or a company or authorized partner. Later, they have to look for a center to perform the practices within the period corresponding to the practices that go to study, as it appears on the Board of the academic year. The students have to do is look for active centres and will be responsible for getting in touch with your tutor or academic tutor (assigned on the day of the auction) to give the go-ahead before formalizing the annex (the agreements and annexes are managed by the students with the Occupational Observatory). The center should be one that does not appear in the list of centres offered from the subject. It would ultimately be eligible for centres that had been free after the end of the center auction. The students who renounce the offered centers and look for one, will have to conform to the dates of realization of practices established for the subject in particular (announced in Dameo from the beginning of the academic year).
ONLY internships may be made outside the period marked in two cases: 1) Students whose centers have had an impact and have to be relocated in other centers, 2) students whose practices have not been adequately managed by the university.
CHECKLIST:
The professional tutor will have a Checklist regarding the standards that students must meet during their internship period. In the case of non-compliance with any of these standards, it will mean the suspension of the subject.
SELF-ASSESSMENT OF THE COMPETENCES ACQUIRED DURING THE INTERNSHIP:
As an intermediate assessment, the students are asked to complete a self-assessment that will be mandatory to deliver in seminar 4, but which does not count toward the final grade for the subject.
