In the ordinary call (June) students can choose between a continuous evaluation method or a final examination with a estimated duration of two hours and a half.
In the extraordinary calls (September, December or end of studies) the student can be only evaluated by a final examination.
- Method of continuous evaluation
The final grade will be formed from the evaluation of projects and/or reports made during the practice season based on the achievement of milestones / targets planned by the teaching staff. The reports and questionnaires submitted not considered for subsequent years.
- Method of a single examination
The final grade will be obtained from the realization of a final exam. The topics under consideration will cover the syllabus, practical sessions and seminars. Students choosing this option in the ordinary call should be noted it in the exam, meaning thereby waiving the merits achieved for continuous evaluation option, if that option had been initiated previously.
As a consequence of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19 and the need to adapt the Spanish University System to a non-attendance/online teaching methodology, the system and the evaluation criteria of the present course is detailed below. The final grade consist of three parts:
A) Final exam online (non-attendance) (15%)
B) Reports of practice sessions and projects (55%)
C) Portfolio and continuous work (delivery of problems, assignments and continuous evaluation test/questionnaires) (30%)
Regarding the teaching methodology and training activities carried out in this course during this exceptional period, all of them are specified in the attached Addendum document in the material section of the course.
