This research group is comprised of three PhD-holding faculty from the Health Psychology Department at the Miguel Hernández University in addition to collaborators from the Unit of Eating Disorders at San Juan University Hospital. Their lines of research are financed by national research projects. General objectives include conducting studies to expand scientific knowledge on psychological approaches to eating disorders. This group's research interest centers on three areas:
1. Analyze the importance of certain psychosocial variables on the development and continuation of these disorders.
2. Research on and intervention with caregivers of patients with eating disorders.
3. Develop resources and instruments that improve intervention in these problems.
