The UMH Atmospheric Pollution Laboratory (LCA) is comprised of investigators whose training and origins are multidisciplinary, and includes chemists and physicists in addition to environmental science and pharmacy graduates, who examine atmospheric pollution from a strictly scientific point of view, but without forsaking technological support or outreach activities to society.
The LCA's main objectives are to study the proportion, composition, chemistry, origin, spatial and temporal distribution, as well as dispersion throughout the atmosphere, of the primary chemical contaminants present in the air and their relationship with the main meteorological variables.
