As a result of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, and the need to adapt the Spanish university system to non-presence, the development of the teaching activity corresponding to the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year will be subject to the following changes in the teaching guide that are concreted as an addendum to the previously approved for the subject.
Theory classes: Teaching is taught online in the groups established for the subject in the official schedules of the degree. This is done using the Google Meet tool.
Practical classes: There have been 4 hands-on sessions, which sweep almost half of the sessions of the subject, with sessions of each of the different techniques used in the practices.
Tutoring: They are carried out, at the request of the student, through the Google Meet tool, on a schedule agreed by teacher-student.
The final grade will consist of three parts, for non-repeat students:
A) Non-in-person final examination (35%); it is not necessary to take out a 4 to weigh with the other sections described below.
B) Reports of the 4 practices carried out: 30%. Final test exam: 20% (it will be performed on the same day of the final exam). Internships need to be approved.
C) Problems proposed in class (before confinement) or uploaded during the month of May through announcements, with a maximum of 5 students helping to solve the proposed exercises (15%).
The final grade will consist of the same three parts with the same criteria, for repeater students who have approved internships, contributing their internship score (paragraph B) by 50% to the total calculation of the subject grade (i.e. they do not have to take a test practice test).
[This brief addendum serves a dual function:
First.- Concrete in each subject the general criteria approved for the whole University with regard to the adaptation of teaching to the non-face-to-face format for this second semester: changes introduced in the teaching methodology and evaluation system applicable in this exception period (according to the Reflections of the Ministry of Universities, of April 4, 2020, on general criteria for the adaptation of the Spanish university system before the pandemic of the Covid-19 , during the 2019-2020 academic year, as well as the REACU Agreement of 3 April 2020, in the face of the emergency situation caused by COVID-19)
Second.- Makes public and officializes the change of evaluation procedure and the criteria that condition it, guaranteeing the procedure of monitoring the qualifications by the internal quality assurance systems and by the Evaluation Agencies]
