Documentation: Practical exercise based on a literature search in MEDLINE databases (via PubMed), Embase, The Cochrane Library, Web of Scopus. It should also be searched through Google's advanced search and settings. It will be necessary to obtain a 5 out of 10 to pass this part of the subject, although it can be done with other parts of the subject if you get more than a 4..
Preparation of research protocol: The evaluation is based on the realization of a practical exercise throughout the group classes on a research project, and the oral presentation of a summary of the same by the group.
Qualitative: critical reading exercise of qualitative articles in which the quality evaluation indicators of qualitative articles will have to be applied
Systematic reviews: exercise that will consist in reproducing the general procedure to carry out a systematic review: pose a research question, justify its relevance, design the search strategy (selection of sources of information, choice of keywords and search equations, elaboration of inclusion and exclusion criteria, and analysis of the data), perform a search in at least one database and elaborate the exclusion tree.
The final grade will be obtained by weighting the marks obtained in each part by the number of sessions taught.
