For the evaluation of the subject it will be considered that this is formed by two modules of independent contents (ANATOMY AND BIOLOGY), with equal weight to establish the final qualification of the same one.
A) ORDINARY CALL ('February'): the student may choose one of the following two types of evaluation:
EVALUATION BY PARTIAL: In this modality, the Anatomy module will be evaluated through two partial eliminatory exams. The average rating of the 'Anatomy' module will be the average of the two partials. The average can be improved (never get worse) depending on the degree of improvement of a series of ongoing, voluntary evaluation activities that will be proposed throughout the semester. Exceeding between 50-70% of them, the average will be improved by 5%; exceeding between 71-90%, 10%; and surpassing more than 90% of the activities, 20%. Example: you get a 6 in the first partial and a 3 in the second: the average is 4.5. If you have exceeded more than 90% of the activities of continuous evaluation, you would have to add 20% of 4.5, that is, 0.9, so the final grade of Anatomy will be 5.4. On the other hand, the Biology module will be evaluated through three partial eliminatory exams, the first two of which will coincide on the date of Anatomy, while the third will be held on the day of the final exam. The Biology grade will be the average of the three partials. Example: you get a 7 in the first partial, a 6 in the second and 4 in the third, so the final grade will be 5.6 in this module. In this evaluation modality, the qualification in the subject will be the average of the final qualification of both modules, so, following this same example, if a 5.4 has been obtained in the Anatomy part and a 5.6 in the Biology part, the final grade in the subject will be 5.5. To pass the subject it will be necessary to obtain a final grade in the subject of 5.0 or higher, and it is not a requirement to approve the two modules separately to pass the subject. None of the ratings 'is saved' for extraordinary calls.
EVALUATION THROUGH FINAL EXAMINATION: In this evaluation modality, the qualification will be that obtained in a single exam with 50% of questions from the Anatomy module and the remaining 50% of the Biology module. To pass the subject, a grade of 5.0 or higher must be obtained. It will not be necessary to overcome both modules independently.
B) EXTRAORDINARY CALLS (SEPTEMBER, DECEMBER): The student may choose to pass the subject in these calls by passing a final exam, similar characteristics to the one described above. The qualifications obtained in other calls will not be taken into account.
This subject does not have any specific access test in the current academic year.
Both the characteristics of each exam and its correction criteria will be communicated in the corresponding call.
Students may be asked to confirm their appearance at each exam, in advance of the exam.
