The FINAL EVALUATION of the subject consists of three sections:
1. An examination of numerical PROBLEMS (P), related to a water and/or waste treatment system. It will include balances of matter and energy. It will be necessary to deliver all the calculations made for evaluation and pass the results to a response template.
2. A THEORETICAL (T) type test. In the test, you will have to choose the correct option from four possible options. Each question answered incorrectly subtracts 1/3 of a correct one. Unanswered questions do not compute. Only the answers that appear in the test template will be taken into account.
3. PRACTICAL Activities:
3.1. LABORATORY PRACTICES (L): You will be asked to submit a laboratory notebook with the calculations made during the experiments and the explanation to the questions that have been raised at the end of the internship.
3.2. COMPUTER PRACTICES (I): The presentation of a report of the practices carried out in the computer classroom will be requested.
3.3. FIELD DEPARTURE (C): A questionnaire of the visit to an ETAP will be carried out.
3.4. ASSISTANCE TO PRACTICES (LABORATORY, COMPUTER AND FIELD) (AP): The attitude and interest shown will be valued.
3.5. RESOLUTION OF SCIENTIFIC INTEREST ISSUES (Q): Throughout the course, scientific questions of interest will be raised, which students must solve by seeking and analyzing relevant scientific information. The issues will be resolved individually, and a brief explanation and the bibliography used must be submitted in writing.
FINAL NOTE
To pass the subject, the final grade calculated using the following expression must be equal to or greater than 5 points out of 10.
Final grade: 0.45 P + 0.35 T + 0.05 L + 0.05 I + 0.03 C + 0.04 AP + 0.03 Q
In addition, problems (P), theory (T), laboratory notebook (L) and computer practices report (I) must be overcome individually (score equal to or greater than 5 points out of 10). . In case of not passing any of these four tests, the notes of those tests passed until the December call can be saved. Those who have not been able to carry out any of the practical activities that require assistance (LABORATORY, COMPUTERS AND FIELD), will have the opportunity to obtain the maximum grade available by taking the corresponding written or oral exam (theoretical exams, methodological explanations and / or calculations, as appropriate). In the activities proposed in the practices of the subject, aspects such as presentation, scientific rigor in the explanations and accuracy in the possible calculations will be assessed. Plagiarism will be sanctioned.
An exam of eliminatory theory of matter will be carried out, provided that the grade is equal to or greater than 5 points out of 10.
