Scientific literature is a cross curricular and basic course in the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. From the point of view of a preliminary study, pharmacists must understand the scientific method, its importance and its application to the field of pharmaceutical science; learn to obtain, organize and manage scientific information by using the appropriate search systems and strategies, as well as becoming familiar with and using communication and information technologies in any facet of their professional capacity.
