The evaluation of the Final Master's Project (TFM) will consist of the realization of a project, preferably professional and to be contextualized in a company or institution, and its oral defense in front of an evaluating court. Likewise, and with the prior authorization of the tutor-director of the assigned project, the TFM may consist of experimental work or review and bibliographical research, provided that it allows applying the competences acquired in the Master, and has a transversal character using techniques and knowledge. of the three preventive specialties of a technical nature.
The tutor of the TFM will advise the student on the methodology to be used, planning and development and will follow up on it. Finally, the tutor or director must give the approval for his presentation, granting a note to the project that will represent 30% of the final grade. For the oral presentation of the TFM, a court will be constituted, which will award a score to the project, which will represent 70% of the final grade. The student can choose the day of presentation of his TFM through the application enabled for this purpose on campus and must remain in the room during the exhibition of the rest of the students of the course.
For the evaluation of the TFM it will be necessary that the student has passed at least 75% of the credits of the curriculum.
In the evaluation by the court, both the memorandum of the written TFM (90% of the grade) and the defense made (10% of the grade) will be taken into account. The following aspects will be evaluated, among others: Presentation and clarity of exposition, capacity of synthesis and critical capacity before the questions posed by the evaluating Court, Interest and relevance of the topic chosen in the field of occupational risk prevention, Methodology adapted to the proposed objectives, Level of dedication and competence. The evaluating court will deliberate on the qualification behind closed doors, taking into account the note proposed by the tutor.
