This research group works in the field of organic electronics and organic optoelectronics and with hybrid systems that integrate polymeric materials and nanoparticles. Our main objective is the full realization and optimization of optoelectronic devices, including their design, manufacture, and characterization. We are currently working with light emitting diodes (LED), photodetectors, and solar cells. Our current interests revolve around the incorporation of inorganic nanoparticles in organic or polymeric matrices in order to examine their usefulness in the operation of the aforementioned devices.
Ours is a young group that has managed to acquire the infrastructure necessary to start research lines with very high interest worldwide within the field of nanotechnology and optoelectronics.
