The Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea was designed to meet the challenges of providing an artistic university education within a contemporary context in which artistic practices are constantly reformulated.
This commitment is supported by human and material resources and educational planning that provide our students with technical and conceptual tools to be able to deal with a scenario in which visual arts encompass an increasingly wider range of professional and cultural practices.
The current curriculum of its Bachelor’s in Fine Arts program responds to new training needs through the appreciation of tradition, the importance of a contemporary technical and conceptual education, and especially through its integration within a context defined by interdisciplinarity media. To achieve this, the curriculum offers two distinct specialties: Fine Arts, and Visual Arts and Design.
These objectives are met, on the one hand, by the design of our facilities, which primarily considers the accessibility for students and offers them a wide range of specific workshops, seminaries, and studios; and on the other, by our faculty and technical staff, who are committed to active and personalized attention towards their students.
